Kinloss has plenty of local amenities including Spar store, Post office, Abbey Inn pub & restaurant, filling station & takeaway all within a few minutes walk from the park.

Also in the village is a leisure centre with a swimming pool & gym, garden nursery, farm shop and a number of attractions including the medieval ruins of Kinloss Abbey. The park sits on the edge of a nature reserve and offers stunning walks for miles in each direction around Findhorn Bay.

Less than a mile away is the village of Findhorn, known as the Jewel of the Moray Coast and is famous for its sandy beaches, stunning scenery and the internationally known Findhorn Foundation eco village & community.

The Bay is also popular for water sports & outdoor activities - being home to the Royal Findhorn Yacht Club and offers endless breath-taking scenery, nature trails & wildlife. Findhorn is also well known for its fantastic food & drink offering and is the place to sample the best local fresh seafood, being home to several popular restaurants including The Kimberley Inn, The Crown & Anchor, The Captains Table, The Bakehouse and the Phoenix Café.

Nearby is the market town of Forres with a thriving high street, relaxed parks and plenty of local shops & amenities. Only a short drive away is Moray’s largest town – Elgin which is home to a large selection of retail parks, shops, supermarkets including Marks & Spencer, The Moray Playhouse Cinema and is home to several popular attractions including Elgin Cathedral & Johnston’s Cashmere to name a few. Moray is also home to some of Scotland’s best golf courses and there a number locally to play on including Kinloss Golf Club and Forres Golf Club both less than 10 minutes’ drive away.

The Park also benefits from a bus stop at the entrance with a regular local service. We are also well connected for cyclists with a cycle path at the entrance to the park offering easy access to a host of nearby towns & villages.
